Youth Hockey Skills/Practice
Sessions
We will offer Skills/Practice Sessions for youth
hockey players throughout the spring and summer. These sessions are a
low-pressure yet structured way for players to continue to work on
maintaining and improving their hockey skills throughout the offseason.
- The intent of
these sessions is to provide more structure and instruction to work
on hockey skills than a "stick time" allows, and to do so at a low
cost.
-
The sessions would
work on a variety of individual skills (skating, passing, shooting,
positioning, etc) and incorporate game-type situations and drills.
- Local hockey
coaches will lead and instruct at the sessions.
-
This is not a “learn to play” offering
– participants should at least have some skating and playing
experience before attending. Experience does not need to be
organized games - experience in stick times or pickup games is
sufficient.
- All players
are welcome regardless of age and playing level.
- Days and
times of sessions will vary due to ice availability and interest.
- Individuals
on the list (below) will receive emails when sessions are scheduled.
You must fill out the form below to be placed on the list
for notification about these sessions.
